Beginning her career in the private training sector Jennifer was instrumental in positioning the first travel and tourism college for accreditation with the private post secondary commission (1996).
Moving to corporate training Jennifer took on the role of curriculum designer for the IBM subsidiary PBSC, developing a variety of training manuals for corporate and government clients Jennifer’s role of educational consultant, curriculum designer and trainer was welcomed during the early years of computers to the work force.
In 2002 Jennifer partnered with the Langara College Continuing Studies department to deliver Summer Computer Camp for teenagers age 12-16. Students developed websites, computer games and learned techniques in video editing, a further partnership with EASports introduced an ongoing computer gaming program for the College. Jennifer has since moved into a faculty position in the School of Management (2005-present).
In 2006 Jennifer and her team designed and developed the Small Business BC Education Centre that extends 100 small business seminars with over 30 industry specialist speakers to 50 cities around British Columbia.
Currently Jennifer works with youth to develop their entrepreneurial skills and position them as potential buyers in the small business market.
